lt1 to ls2 swap.

I have an Ls2 engine, trans, and computer that im about to swap in my 95 camaro z28 just wondering if any of you know a good repitable (sp?) shop or person that can do the swap at a decent price? thx. ps my old engine , trans and computer is up for sale also ask for more details if interested.

You may want to talk to victory racing engines. I know they do alot with LS2'S

I agree with Brandon -- VRE is probably your best bet. VRE is a CZ28 supporting vendor, and their guys are always around here helping people out with their builds.

Just for the sake of giving you more than one option, I'll bet Hardcore Racing in Howell could do it too, but I heard they're having legal trouble (apparently their Flint location was involved in some kind of organized crime and the fallout came down on the Howell guys too).

I think it's temporary. My father-in-law is friends with the owner. I'll see if I can get any details.

I wouldn't send any biz to hardcore. I used to buy parts when I was in a pinch from the Flint store. Everything about that place just said "shady".

As I said before, I'm referring to the guys in Howell. The Flint guys are indeed shady. The Howell guys had nothing to do with it.

Yeah found a shop that has done the swap before say they can do it for aound $4500 parts and labor including an ls6 intake, longtubes a cam and dyno tuning so I guess thats not so bad, will post pics of progress.
