looking for a stall conv. for a TH400

I am thinking about geting a TH400 for my Iroc. I can get a good deal on one from a friend, but I still would need a conv. for it. I found one online for $180 new, but that one isnt to be used w/nitrous. so If I can get one for cheaper then that, i might just go ahead and get the 400 w/trans brake and manual valvebody.

I got a few buddies in Chicago with some for sale, 3500 and 4500, ~$300 and $350 each.

I doubt you are going to get what you are looking for for under $180. You are going to get what you pay for. I got mine from Rapid Motorsports, in the $700 range. Will run around 3600 off the juice, and 4400-4500 on the juice.

You could probably find a decent one in the $400 range. Look in Summit or Jegs. Good luck.

If I were to build a slushbox, I'd definitely use a trans brake!
