Are you looking for a 3rd gen rear?? I take it if you are wanting a 3rd gen rear if you are asking for a 9 bolt. I happen to have a 3rd gen disk brake rear with posi and a unknown gear ratio out of my old 86 T/A. It is at my parents house back in MI. It has some rust on it and needs to be cleaned up. I think the calipers would need to be replaced and the rotors would need to be turned on it and of course new pads.If you don't want to spend much and don't mind using a little elbow grease on her I think we could work something out.Hell I'll even throw in the rusted LCA's free of charge.

It has about 86,000 miles on it.It looks ugly.I am being honest with you.I don't want to set a price without you seeing it.It does need work.I can tell you where it is at if you would like to look at it.If you wanted to take it you could just pay my parents and take it. I don't have any way of getting pics or I would just send you some. Sorry.

why do you need one?

i need a new one for the new air filter..........crazy power i tell you.

but mine is purely stock and wouldn't hold up for more than 350 probably. but, it would be cheap though.

91 Redd Sledd, where is the rear end at? I might go take a look at it.

treyZ28, im guessing you are talking about the rear end from the 95 you have for sale in your sig? Im not sure that i really want a 4th gen rear. but i will consider anything.

Jeff, I am just wanting to upgrade to a posi disc rear. Im only going to be running a mild 350 with out a fancy air filter this season , so even a stock 10 bolt will hold up i think. When are you getting your new rearend? shoot me a price of what your asking when you swap rears.

i am kind of wanting to sell one of my trannys before i buy a rear, but all the deals keep falling through so who knows

the rear end is located in Bannister MI which is like 1/2 north of St.johns on US - 27 and a little to the east.Where would you be coming from?? If you put a 4th gen rear in a 3rd gen,you would have to get new wheels with the 4th gen offset to make them look correct on your car.My friend did that swap to his 91 RS and put the factory flat 5's back on and they stuck out past the rear quarters a little bit.He ended up buying some of the take off firebird 5 stars from SLP to get it corrected. But then he had to make spacers/adapters to get the fronts to fit correctly. But when you are a machinist by trade you can do that stuff cheap.

i wouldn't think much more than a couple hundred if that........although we would have to get you some brakes. i've got rotors and lines but i would keep my calipers.

i'll let you know when i'm ready if you still need it.
