I'm looking for a Ford 9" third member with a 31 spline center section. A posi and 3.90 or 4.11 gears would be nice too!

i've got 2 to choose from both are built with the stock ford center and support , 1 has a 3.75 gear with a detroit locker, solid spacer, 1350 series yoke (everything is new) $750.00 and i also have a 4.11 with a true-trac for $720.00 also has a solid spacer with new bearings and a 1330 yoke and gears. call Scott Koresky 586-630-1098

i've got alot of 9" parts on hand and can build 1 on about 2 days.

 

That's a little more then I was planning on spending, what else can you build for me with the other 9' parts? Would you consider just selling a locker and a gear?

well i can get the locker for $425.00 from DTS and a decent ring & pinion for $140.00, i guess you might have thought i as trying to sell you a used assembly, sorry i dont keep good used parts for long and detroit lockers are hard to come by used. the most least expencive diff. i have is a mini spool in a open case for about $100.00 and i have a good used 4.56 for $85.00

 

Is that open diff still a 31 spline and can I have the third member with it?
No 4.11's?

 

the open diff. has a 31 spline Mini Spool in it and i can build a center with a new 4.11 and the diff. i have for $450.00.

I have two sets of used 4.11 9" gears, I think one set is Richmond and the others are US Gear. I went from a 4.11 to a 3.50 gear earlier this year. I would ship either for $60 which is a good deal unless you want to pick up for $50 in Chicago.

 

Oh, and lockers or posi's are like $400, so really you are looking at $100-150 for a truck case, $400 for the posi, and $150 for the gear. Plus bearings and labor. I bought a used Strange centersection with a used Auburn posi and 3.50 gear a few years ago for $450 which was a deal but the posi went out after a season and then I got the $425 Tractech soft locker that I run now in my 31 spline setup. I'd love to sell my 31 spline stuff to upgrade to 35 but I can't afford it right now.

 

What kind of deal can you make me for a 4.11 r and p and that 31 spline mini spool that you have?
