Re: Looking for a cheap engine...

got a great 305 complete heads, to oil pan, waterpump to flexplate, starter, got a Hei dist. I'll throw in, got most of a set of pulleys, its all assembled too. I'll sell ya that for $150.
got a couple diff. holley carb's for sale too. the 600 would be perfect for it. it has very low miles $100
got a good 700r4 trans shifts great low miles for $200, can incl. a converter for another $50.
another great eng. I got for it is a 396 big block. it needs a new set of pistons, and could use a fresh honeing, but other that that its complete with a solid cam, lifters, rpm intake, hei dist., oil pan, starter, waterpump, pulleys, ported open port heads, hardened pushrods, true roller timing chain, tchain cover, edelbrock cast alum. valve covers (very 60's style). got the upper half motormounts too. $800

email me if your interested in any of these parts. Ive prolly got more that that laying around to that you could use, just cant think of anything in my latenight daze.

My brother in law has a 94 LT1 Caprice that has been hit on the side. He drove it home from Jackson and it ran well. It has an iron headed LT1, 4L60E and wiring harness. We have picked a few parts off it so it's not drivebale any more but all the important stuff is there.

PM me if you want his number.
