I'm trying to help out a buddie ..He's in need of a rebuilt or tranny in good shape for his 97 Astro Van, any input would be appreciated. He lives in Howell as well.

I have a 700r4 transmission from an early 80's fullsize diesel pickup. It will bolt up but it has a mechanical kickdown and speedo. Should be able to swap them though.

 

Iknow someone that has a stock one out of a wrecked 85 Iroc that worked perf.. think he wanted $200 for it along time ago. I'll call him tomorrow and see if he still has it. I know a tranny guy if your interested in just having yours rebuilt. you wont beat his prices either.
