Umm... I like the concept (V8, rwd, 4 seats, affordable), but am I the only one who thinks it looks like a Cavalier?

I agree the styling falls way short, however the power forgives.
Still too high priced. Look forward to seeing how they run at
the track.

YaI know how ya feel about the overall look right now!. I felt the same way about the fourth gen's till i saw one one go'n down the road.
Just remember...
take one mild manored everyday looking car mom aand pop have in the driveway (Lamans)...
Throw in the biggest Hp v8 you can find ...
... touch up the styling in the front and rear views and "BAM"
we have GTO. Then and NOW!
Second year production runs will, will..
well ya'll will see!!!!!!!!!!!!
Talked with a very good inside source a few weeks back at the Pontiac widetrackers show ...shhhhh
something wicked will come our way!!!!
mark my woords , wait and see what everyone wants in a GTO will BE!

Thumbs up

I do not like green eggs and ham, sam I am!

i agree, there are some very nice plans for that car....aftermarket is already jumping at the bit so styling can be changed easily as well as we all know what you can do power wise.

I read in another mag that there will be more styling changes in 2005. A more aggressive look. Maybe the Judge is coming.
i read that the car is going to weigh 3600 lb. I would think that it would run a 13.2 1/4 time with a good driver. A little tweeking and 12.9 would be poss. I wish the pricing was a little lower tho.
