I'm still running 14.1's even though the weather was cooler than last time out. I did manage to win a couple races tho.
I finally treed my buddies 99Z so bad that I won. It had to happen sooner or later

4.10's are going in Friday. I hope I can make it out there one last time and break into the 13's.

I'm curious about one thing tho. I ran that red ls1 F-body with the blower. He cut a .469 light and fouled yet they still gave him the win???

In Time trials I don't think the light matters... they just give the win to the best E.T. What car were you in ? I drove the White `95 12.97E.T.(had to mention it one more time... I am excited what can I say )

They were accounting for the reaction time last night. I won a couple of races on hole shots. For instance, I ran a 13.57 to a 12.97 and got the win. No big deal and it didn't matter much to me other than to practice a bit.

I won one on reaction time myself
The car I raced beat me by 1.7 seconds so it wasn't even close.

The timeslip shows "Foul" under his number (reaction .469) and yet gave him the win. The guy handing out timeslips initially handed me the white one, then pulled it back and gave me the yellow. This is something new to me, so I figured I'd ask.

I was driving the dark cherry Caprice in my signature. I was impressed by the number of F bodies in the 12's last night.

Did you get that torque converter installed yet? If so, how much did it help you? What kind of tires were you running on?

Wink

Thanks to all of you that showed, it's gonna be even better next season.

My car was down so I took out my 69 Z/28 to come down and spectate but of course I couldnt just sit there and watch you all have fun so I lined her up and ran her down a few dismal runs. Michelin radials are a joke on that track, plus the fact I slept off the line twice and jammed the 4 speed up my first run down Do'h!

And then to top it off I destroyed the water pump when I was lining up for a fourth run. Had to get trailored home.

Someone just after me dropped their rearend, ugh that sucked too.

Anyways I look forward to seeing you all next year! We'll make it a monthly thing.

Scott, I didn't install the converter. To be honest, I think I'm going to buy a vigilante and sell the Neal. I only want to do that job once. Since the Neal will stall pretty close to the S10, (like you mentioned before) I think it would be a lot of work for a minimal gain.

I'm still running the stock tires. They're BFG KDWS's 255/40/17 if my memory is correct. Much to my surprise, I have been pulling low 2.0x's consistently with them. I really do need to invest in some decent tires but that will likely wait until spring.

New Personal Best, Thanks To Everyone That Set Up The Event

Thanks to everyone involved in last nights event.

I skipped the M7 event where I planned on testing my new heads, cam and computer retune. I was driving a 98 Black Ram Air TransAm. My previous personal best was 12.8 at 104. Last night shattered that with a 12.2 at 110, this with only a 1.75 60' time. I layed done a couple of 12.4's and some other times also. I had a real hard time hooking still. I will be back with a set of ET Streets to see what the car is really capable of. I d othink I can manage into the 11's since I was not able to launch full throttle. I also have a new ported throttle body and a set of lower control arms to help me out a little. The car is set to run rich to be on the safe side. Time to lean it out just a little and see what it will do.

Thanks Again,

Bill

Yeah, even though I didn't run my car on Tuesday night, it sure looked like a great time was had by most. I'll plan on being there to run next year. I did see the pass where the LS1 Camaro grenaded the rear, any damage accessments in on that one? Hopefully it was still under warranty
