Cool Just Got Home!

Hey thanks to all the Michigan Guys and Gals for your hospitality,Todd and I had a blast!

It was nice meeting(ladies first) Rebecca,Amber,Dave,Grover,Denny,Hink,Pete,Joe,Chri s and a whole bunch more.
It was also nice to see Taner his Wife and Roman again.

I wish I could have raced more, but at least she(my car) got me home from Michigan this time

WTF is wrong with AMOCO's gas! my car ran like a real bag of sh*t,knocking and pinging under load after I filled up about 30 miles outside Port Huron.

I had to take it easy until that crap was gone about 40 miles from home! where I got some good old 94 Sunoco

They wasted the Hot Tub Room on Dave! J/K LMAO!

Chris it would have been nice to see a few more people there,it was more a small gathering than a party

But it was enjoyable just the same

BTW Hows your head today Joe?

Thanks, we like being hospitable! It was great meeting you guys too! Thanks a whole lot for letting us party in your room... I laughed so much last night that today my stomach muscles hurt. Next time you guys can't leave so early, you have to stay and have breakfast with the rest of us rowdy yay-whoos.

Got back a couple hours ago myself. First off, many thanks to the people who put this together and thanks to Wally for the heads up and invite so I could come out and play, see all the nice cars, and meet a few nice people. The track was wonderful. The day was very nice. Thanks so much for all of the fun. It was worth triple the time of towing out there.. Hope to do it again next year.
Please forgive me for not knowing everyone's names. The Canadian guy (is it Tom?), you were very kind to me. Thanks. You're very nice, and I hope the trip home was safe and good.
I really enjoyed the purple Camaro and Firebird out there. The 30th T/A was sweet. Every car out there was sweet. Although the cop car was scary.. Spooky seeing those lights in your rear view mirror! *lol*
I had a great time. Got a few runs in on the new transmission and drag radials. Hope to be there again next year.
Thanks for letting a four cylinder lady have fun.

It was nice to see you again also Tom. So are we going to see you in G.B. in a few weeks? Maybe next time we'll be able to shoot the **** a bit more. I always seem to be too busy at these races.

See you next time

Thank you very much! I look forward to doing it again next year. I think I am pretty much hooked on this event.
Although, I'll bring along my migraine pills next time so I can go to the BBQ at the park too. That would have been fun to talk with some of you guys/gals.

My first run, and without nitrous, was 15.93.
My second run was 13.96 with nitrous.
The rest of the runs were 14.0's and a slowing (as well as losing)14.22 in the first round. New trans didn't like that last run I guess... *lol*

well the one run was

2.6x 60'
13.3x @113.4

car bogged, then i shifted to 2nd and the tires spun hard and it went right to the rev limiter, i had to let off 2times in second.. and had to shift tto 3rd and try and continue the run..

the next run was just as bad.. however the car went
2.16 60'
13.1@111.5
it bogged hard and i shifted and it killed the tires in the same spot BA REV LIMITER! it really killed the run...

arrrgh.. and shifting at 6200-6400 i was just shifting to 4th crossing the line
