Just got an email...
...from Denny's Driveshaft. The nitrous ready shaft should be here on Thursday. So by the weekend the car will be back on the ground and hopefully the extra switches will be wired.
The NMCA is at Martin the 28th and 29th of June. I would LOVE to be there but money is a HUGE issue in the Hinkley Household right now. Besides... I'm not racing any Pro Tree until I can leave off of the two step, FLOORED! Jegs has a linelock for like $41.00.
I would put this on the rear. How many pop cans IS $41.00??
HInk (2 poor 2 race 2 day or 2 morrow)

I want to try the EFI class.
Kev,
Is it a .400 or .500 and will they let me deep stage?
.500 Pro Tree - Handicapped for different classes.
You may deep stage if written on car I believe. Also you will have to join NMCA @ $50.00 + race fees.
And yes... I would be interested in Crew Chiefing for you as per the private message!!

Hay Al/ Hink....
...your right on the joining money but as of the last race in Maryland the entry fee for "sportsman classes" was raised from $60.00 to...... "$100.00!
Larger insurance and track rental cost's were the major cause of this per NMCA officals.
Plan on shelling out $150!
Just a heads up for our heads up racers.

check the first line of the first paragraph of this link
http://www.nmca-racing.com/modules.p...3general_rules
And I quote:"All race entrants at National Muscle Car Association events must be a member of the NMCA with the exception of EFI competitors." end quote
It also says:"EFI Class participants must be a member to qualify for contingency payouts and year-end World Championship point accumulations." But I'm not worried about either of these because as you all know I have very few aftermarket parts on my car and I'm only racing 2 races so I won't need the points.
And lastly, according to the US131 web site the entry for Sportsman is $75 (but I'll be taking a c-note just in case)
