Just got back from Track event at Mid-Ohio

Just got back from a two-day track event at Mid-Ohio last weekend. Thought I would post some pics from the event. We had about (8) 25 minute sessions on the track over the course of two days. One session was in a down pour, which was very educational.

This was my third year at Mid-Ohio...and it is incredible. Each year gets better. I actually had the car sideways twice this year, but was able to save it before going off-track. Once was throttle induced and the other was a result of trying to carry too much speed into turn (7).

Hope you enjoy the pics. I have a couple of small movie clips if anyone wants to host.

Did you run with a club or something? Or was it just an "open" track day?

More info please! I would be interested in this!

This was an event sponsored by a club that some friends of mine belong to. It was a two day driving school. Everyone is assigned an instructor who will ride with you and help you learn the track and improve your lines and techniques. If they are comfortable with your progress they will sign off on you and allow you to Solo.

It definitely is a blast!
