February 5th we are holding a benefit at the Fillmore (formerly the State Theater) in Detroit to raise money for six-year-old boy from Commerce Township named Joseph Penrod who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in february, 2008.

Since then his family has been working to fund research through the MDA as well as to raise awareness for the disease to help fund the current care and treatment for those in need. Proceeds will be split between Joseph and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Anyone that would like to help please let me know asap whether individual or a local company. It would be nice to see some friendly faces out at the event!

A paypal account will be up shortly for those that can't make the event that would like to contribute to the cause. We know times are tough so we aren't expecting anything but every bit makes a difference. We will also be selling off wristbands and shirts to help raise funding. links should be up shortly for the other things.
