83 Iroc huh? You should be asking A LOT more, cause if you got an IROC built in 83, you got a one off.
"Camaro Forsale"
T-tops, skirts, leather interior, all options, all iroc decals and ran 10's for the 12 years I owned and called it "The Roc", so you can call it what you like -- Iroc, camaro, z... 82-92 same car. Unless your ****. how about

Saying it's not an Iroc isnt ****..it isnt an IROC
who cares if it is or isnt an IROC. he's selling what looks like a very clean CAMARO for a cheap price. ofcourse I havent seen it, just the pics. but for that price it looks great. and he said the rear was just replaced. he didnt say the car is exactly the way it was running 10's did he? nor did he say the car comes w/an eng that would make it run 10's. so I dont see what the big deal is.
good luck selling the car.
chris

"that 7.5 held up to 10s for 12 years???!?!?!?!"
As posted rearend was last rebuilt in 12/01.
I owned and raced the car from 1989 to 2000 then I solded it in 2001.
I when thur 6 rearends and about 5 700r4's.
The car has transformed from the tpi to a tpi with a paxton(early 90's) to a stroker with an ATI procharger(mid90's) which I sold here(blower). and in 2001 the guy I solded the ROC to turn it to a carb set-up(no blower) and trashed the car.
The current engine is a 383 stroker --
5140 forged crank,
J&E custom pistons,
Eagle H-beam rods,
The block was a Brand new GM block not reconditioned,
Fully ported AFR 195 Heads with killer flow #'s
dual springs good to .650,
custom grind cam,
1.6 roller rockers,
AFR intake,
holley 750 double pumper,
MSD billet distributor,
msd 6a,
blaster coil,
areomotive 11203 or a holley 803 or the mallory comp 110(all 3 are here) electric fuel pump,
slp headers, 3" single with a race magum,
flex-a-lite(310) dual electric fans,
B&m hammer shift shifter,
Art Carr 3500 stall with anti balloning plates, for blower/nos
Race built 700r4 with manual valve body,
140 amp alternator,
CSI mini starter,
Griffin Radiator,
plus the rearend and more I can't think of right now.
ALL OF WHICH IS STILL IN THE CAR RIGHT NOW.
You don't think the combo above with an ATI or a shot of laughin gas can run 10's in the 1/4? then you never ran 10's before
Come and hear this ugly car run before I dismantle it.
The kid I sold the car to dogged it and lost it due to an impound and I bought it back from the yard in Taylor, who did not have a clue to what was under the hood, they had it for 6 months.
All of the above will be forsale when I take it all out.
Have any of you of that have posted, been to a real street race in the city? You don't judge the car by its looks
And for the kids that reply just to see thierselves talk, grow-up
I selling a car, not debating on what you can't comprehend.
See you at the track in my 4dr.
IROC5.7TPI you live in warren, I'm right here at 8mile and gratiot come on by and learn something.Have plenty of go fast parts
