Nick, Do you have a scan tool/code reader at the shop?
I'd make sure the crank sensor is not throwing a coding. Mike it's a '93 Grand Am 4 cyl.

Re: i need help!!!

I had the same problem with my 95 neon. It would do that same problem. I put some gas treatment in and that turned out to be the problem in my case. I'm not sure it will slove yours but It would not hurt. Water in the gas tank - will cause that to happen trust me on that. It's cause from bad gas at your station. Try to think back to the last place you put gas in your tank. Was it your normal station or a station you hardly go to?? Go buy yourself some gas treatment and see what happens. You should still put it in regardless of the problem. Just so that it wont happen again in the future. You can get it basically anywhere they sell car products. Let me know if that was the problem. It could be a vacuum line also- Mike

Re: i need help!!!

I buy all my gas at the same station as you Nick and I've never had bad gas from there. Across from Marys coney correct?.
Heck if the 110 union 76 tank go's dry this time of the year he won't even get race gas till spring and he never puts anyting but 110 in that tank unlike others who drop race fuel for winter and put keroseen in that pump's tank.
I'd be suprised if his gas is bad. Nick I'm running his 87 cheap stuff right now...
...thats ok.
