They blow ***! I had my car in there for exhaust repair, comes back with tons of scratches on it, they are only willing to split the cost. GRrrrrrr so frustrating dealing with stupid body shops! ARGH!

thats why you take a video or pics of it and go over every spot with the service manager before it gets worked on! Cause they dont care about your car! I had one dealer break the o2 sensor off and say it was a rock that hit it!

 

I know what you mean!!!!!! My car is still at a certain dealer getting their screw ups fixed. From what i see they have some lazy a$$ peeps working there and guys that dont take pride in their work.Im not payin them a dime cuz its their $hitty work and carelessness is why im not picking the car up til it is perfect. For every issue they solved they created more by putting scratches or nicks on parts of the car they did not do work in the first place. How can someone prep and paint a bumper cover and skip right over a split???????????? Rant over....... Steven

 

i had some serious problems with them before. long story short

my convertible top broke. I took it to them they charge me ~$500. I bring it home, next day its broke again. I bring it back. They gurantee all their work for a year. I drop it off and 5 days later I get a call saying it will be $900 MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told them to get ****ed and that they better fix it for free. They told me they half assed it the 1st time to save me money but it obviously didnt work. I picked up my car and fought with the manager for a week. He stopped returning my calls. Then I contacted the state of michigan. Ya know that big sign at all auto repair places, well I called them. Two days later the manager called me begging me to bring my car in so they could fix it for free. they even threw in some trim pieces for free that had faded from the sun. I havnet gone back since for anything

I've heard nothing but bad words about Buff Whelan. I would call GM and the Bureau of Automotive Regulation in Lansing. They have screwed over a lot of people I know...even tried screwing my mom out of $500 when she was looking at a new car. She found one that she liked, gave them a check to get the car she wanted to their lot, then later in the day found the exact same car at another dealer for a lot less money. She went back to get her check and they told her it was already run thru their account.. I told them I wasn't leaving without her money and I started getting loud in the showroom and chasing off customers.. They somehow produced her check within 5 minutes and asked me to leave. @ssholes...
