How would this tire look on my car?

I want a taller tire than the 315/35/17 and the only other option for a 17X11" rim seems to be the 335/35/17 tire. Would the 335 be too big, how do you guys think it will look and handle? I appreciate all your opinions.
My 1985 corvette is also black but not a convertible, I also have the same fender flares for the rear. Check out these pics of another guys vette with 335's.

from what I can see it looks pretty good. real good from the back. Id need to see a pic from the front fender looking back to see how that looks before I said the tires look right. they may stick out too much to look good, even w/the flares.

I was looking through some other pics of 335/35/17 tires on C4 vettes and I realized that mine won't stick out as far as the one in the post, my vette has the ZR1 offset in the rear so my tires will actually be 3/4" more inside the wheel well so they won't stick out as far. Also I thought they might be a little big for the rims but the tire manufacturers reccomend a 335/35/17 on a 11" to 13" wide rim so I am also within the specs there. With the extra height of the tire I will be able to use my 3.91 gears and still cruise good on the highway.
I'd appreciate it if you guys could give me some more of your opinions before I buy tires. Thanks.

if the offset your refering to is right, and they are narrower by 3/4" on ea. side, then I think it will look badass. might even have looked good the way he had it, but it ws bordering looking cheesy. those tires goin to be any good off the line?

I just realized you trid calling. Im not working on the camaro here. its at work. so I have to get in early every day, and stay till close to work on it. and ofcourse if we run out of work I can work on it. I already got the eng. almost ready to drop out the bottom. just some more harness stuff uptop to take care of, then the cradle bolts. I didnt see anything stuck in the oil filter or in the oil cooler that would restrict flow. a couple metal flakes, but that is the aftermath, not the cause of. gotta figure out why this happened. I'll also do the gears at work later some time. there just noisy. dont think theyre gonna break or anything.

The 335's should hook well, the tread measures 13.2" wide and they have a slightly taller sidewall than the 315's so they should get some decent traction.
