How frustrating is this?

I have a car lined up to buy. Unfortunately the bank says 5 is too many. Gotta sell one.
I have my camaro up for sale damn cheap for what all is included. I'm really in a pinch and need it gone quick. I get a guy interested and he wants to lowball. I'm soooooo tempted because I need my car gone so I can get the new one...but I just can't do it. Check out his offers:

LineUpWithMe (5:53:50 PM): hey man
TimberwolfZ28 (5:54:40 PM): hello
LineUpWithMe (5:54:49 PM): hey what sup
TimberwolfZ28 (5:55:05 PM): not much, just put a new apc steering wheel in the car
LineUpWithMe (5:55:08 PM): i saw ur 94 Z on the website
LineUpWithMe (5:55:24 PM): can you send me some pics of the car ?
TimberwolfZ28 (5:55:56 PM): there's some here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2426419058
LineUpWithMe (5:58:38 PM): whats the reserve set at?
LineUpWithMe (5:58:49 PM): is the inside gutted?
TimberwolfZ28 (5:58:49 PM): same as buy it now
TimberwolfZ28 (5:59:02 PM): nope, full interior from a 99 z28
LineUpWithMe (5:59:19 PM): the exhuast, true dulles? hanging down low?
TimberwolfZ28 (6:00:03 PM): they actually tuck up tight. When I first got them done one was a little lower than the other, but they are up tighter noe
LineUpWithMe (6:00:31 PM): Are you not going to sell it if the reserve is not met?
TimberwolfZ28 (6:00:56 PM): I am sure it will sell locally if need be. But I am open to offers
TimberwolfZ28 (6:03:06 PM): for the right offer I'd end the auction early
LineUpWithMe (6:04:54 PM): $5500 is all I can do without seeing it
TimberwolfZ28 (6:10:28 PM): where do you live?
LineUpWithMe (6:10:36 PM): VA
TimberwolfZ28 (6:11:02 PM): I can take more pics if you want. If you can go $6500 I'll split shipping with you and we can end the auction now
TimberwolfZ28 (6:11:27 PM): If I did $5500 I'd have to keep either the drag wheels/tires or the nitrous
LineUpWithMe (6:12:13 PM): I cant do that man
LineUpWithMe (6:12:21 PM): to much of a chance
TimberwolfZ28 (6:12:53 PM): I have a lot of references...people that have seen the car in action. People from the board, a couple of them are moderators even
LineUpWithMe (6:13:14 PM): Best I could do is $6000 shipped to me with everything
TimberwolfZ28 (6:13:43 PM): how about 6500 shipped. Shipping alone will cost me at least $500
LineUpWithMe (6:15:18 PM): sorry cant
TimberwolfZ28 (6:16:23 PM): Well, I really need to sell the car, but I just can't take that much of a raping on it. This is a $9000 setup. You couldn't duplicate it for any less. If you can't do more than $6000 then unfortunately I just can't do it :-(
LineUpWithMe (6:17:52 PM): ok no problem, thanks

You miss the point. He really didn't want to buy the car. He sounds like one of those guys who loves the negotiating side of it and if he doesn't actually want to buy it he starts so low that he knows the seller won't come down to it. If by chance the seller agrees, he probably still wouldn't buy it.

Timberwolf, you did the right thing by far. It happens to me a lot.

I know I couldn't build a car that runs 11.70's @118 MPH for $6000 grand or I would build them for a living.
