In fact, I had one with a magnet on it that was used to open a metal oil can. The magnet let you stick it to something metallic under the hood. Only you old f u k s will remember those. A quart of oil in those days cost about .30, IIRC. I bought a quart of Valvoline the other day at Meijer...... $3.09. Dayum!

Well, after 7 straight losses, they finally won one. Its still a long upward battle to .500.

It's cool guys! I found a good luck charm for us. My 2 year old came downstairs to watch the game with me for a few last night. They scored 4 runs right after she showed up. I just have to talk her into watching it now everynight.

Was that not a great game last night? The crowd started to leave after Bobby Seay gave back 4 runs to make it 9-4 Twinkies. I don't leave games early and I am glad I didn't. Hopefully the bats will stay hot. It was great to go to a game and have something to really cheer about. For those that didn't see the score tigers won 11-9. The tigers scored 6 in the bottom of the 8th.
