anyone know if there's going to be holding this car show and consert this year in downtown Pontiac? Last year was a blast!

it's always been in june and the website had uptodate info so i would doubt it highly since it isn't on any of the major rosters.

 

Back a couple of weekend's I was washing the Hotrodhawk up, the Sunday after the downriver cruise and I happened to bump into Mr Dave Hamberger of SLP at the local car wash here in Waterford ...of all place's. But as I found out he lives in my home town now...KOOOOL !!
Dave was talking about this show with me and many other very cool things coming out of SLP soon..heehehehehee

Dave said the name "hotwheel's" was droped and It's going to be called: "Hotcars~coolnites"....
..he said a website would be up soon with info on the show.
SLP, the company will be a backer of the show.
I know he reads this board so maybe he will post some info when it's ready.

I was told the other day Ed Hamburger was the guy behind SLP...is that true? I see hawk says Dave... perhaps a family business? I don't know SLP history, so I thought I would ask.

 

Dave is the son of Ed Hamberger. Yes SLP is in the "Family".
Dave has relocated to MI and is in charge of "Four New" vechical Programs...

Um, I'd be at the Pontiac Tri-power Nationals next month, They will be showing off some new stuff.
