Post Hey whats the name of that department of corrections site??

Its like www.michigandepartmentofcorrections.com or something.I just heard about this site and cannot beleive that this is allowed! I must see it with my own eyes.I heard if you enter in someones name and the have a prior record it shows there picture and stuff!!

Unbeleivable!! Talk about invasion of privacy! Unless you killed someone or are a sexual predator this is complete B.S!

once you do to jail in 90% of the cases..your debt has been paid!

I believe the system is called OTIS - do a search on it.

You guys think this is invasion of privacy?

Some small town newspapers have a section with every ticket the local cop gave out that week. I know my uncle that lives in a small town in Minnesota still has it in his local paper.

I beg to differ. Breaking the law is a conscious choice. People know what the law is. And unless you're a complete idiot, you know there are consequences for disobedience. If you make the choice to break the law, then you are making the conscious decision to risk the consequences and give up rights like your right to privacy.

If you can't do the time, don't do the crime. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
