Hey Dan (WS6transam)

Just was watching mythbusters and they were fitting their test dummy with an IST Accelerometer. The box said it was made in Okemos, MI. Was that some of your work?

Did you see it rip the aluminum apart and rip the legs right off? They said from 160' into water it is 277g's at impact... dayum!!!!

Yup, that was "my" box! It was IST's box, actually. I wasn't involved in the rental or analysis of the data. However, I did something similar for a production company in 2000, where I installed four recorders in some demolition derby cars at Route 66 speedway. The TV production company turned it into a television documentary for the learning channel. My name even made it onto the credits as their scientific consultant.
