Does anyone here know Eric (ROADRAGE)?

I bought some shocks from him in August (PayPal payment cleared on the 17th) and I havn't received them yet. I've had to send him mail every couple days only to get yet another reason why they havn't shipped yet.

Last word I had from him was on the 16th claiming that I was such a great guy for not "going off" on him, and that they would ship out the next day... I sent mail on 18th, 20th, and today the 22nd asking for a tracking number and have yet to receive a reply.

If anyone knows Eric please let know what's goin on... does this dude even HAVE the parts he's selling? or is he just seriously jacked up on meds that he can't ship out parts he received payment for 5 weeks ago?

Eric's posted consistently on the board during this time... however the last post was 3 days ago.

Yes he has them, and I know from talking with him that he is trying to get them shipped, but I will let him explain that.

 

I've known Eric for a while now from this board and I've never known him to rip someone off. I've helped him work on his car and even bought parts off him myself (twice). If he hasn't shipped them, then something out of the ordinary must be going on with him because he is reliable. I can understand you are frustrated, but I'm sure you'll get the parts.

 

shoot me a pm with your address. The shocks are here right now, I bought the springs from him but he didn't have a tool to remove them. Told him I could do it for him but I have been elbow deep in a cam swap for the last week. Just finished it up today. I'll get them seperated and in a box to you.

Anyone heard from Timberwolf lately? The last word I had from him was that he was out drag racing the last September weekend and was going to get the shocks off the springs "in the next few days". Unfortunately that was on 9/27/04 and I havn't heard anything back after asking for an update on October 5, 2004.

I know this isn't Eric's fault... just unlucky timing I guess. If anyone knows timberwolf and could give him a hand in getting the springs off my Koni's I'd appreciate it. Sounds like he's having problems getting the nut off (anyone locally have an impact wrench? Maybe a heat gun would do it?)

Sorry to bring this ttt, it's just seems like everything that could go wrong has... looking to get this resolved ASAP.

check your PMs much? already sent youa PM telling you I got them off of there last night and that you will need to chase the threads with a die. They were really rusted up and the threads aren't in the greatest shape anymore. I talked to Eric alst night about it and he said he was going to email you to tell you what's up. Either way, that's the status. They are in the car ready to go out tomorrow. I just wanted to make sure he talked to you so you knew what to expect when they arrived.

 

yes... I also monitor my email account continously... with instant email-notification from the board.

I know you guys have been around on the boards for a long time and have never heard of any anyone being ripped off. But taking a guys money 2 months ago and not shipping them soon after is wrong.
If the parts aren't ready for sale then don't post them.

Thanks for the input, but I told Steve when he paypaled me that the car hadnt even been started yet. he was aware it was going to be a while before I got the struts off, we just didnt anticipate all the troubles.

 

Yeah, Eric cut me good deal and I knew it was still being parted-out.

I've touched base with Eric and Timberwolf to make sure we're all on the same page. Everything's should be shipping out tomorrow morning.

No worries on my end... just waiting for the tracking numbers and some shocks to replace my 180,000 mile DeCarbons.
