Chris-
I have been chasing a problem for a few months. Check out a thread called "LT1 Coil Nightlight Normal" for the full scoop. I changed multiple things on my setup and I am hoping to narrow the problem down further. I changed from accell to svo 30 lb injectors right before my header install. I don't know, but they may be a contributing factor to my heat related issues. Doing a swap and running the car up to 185 would help me confirm if I need to look into them further.

Once I confirm the fuel injectors are good, I will move back into the ignition side: probably buy a full set of wires, then move on to the opti

no time to search for the thread, post a link please. I got a setup for you then, you can come get it from me at home in waterford, or at work in redford (telegraph and 96).

as long as your SURE you dont have a fuel contamination problem? so you also changed the tune with the inj. swap? pretty positive the tune has to change from gm or accell 30lb'rs compared to the svo 30lb inj.s be interested to read it though to see if I can help out anyother way.
your the one with the black Z that used to do all the shows? or still does? think I talked to you at the waterford road racing track right?

Chris-

Here is the original thread:

https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=770341

My car has a mail tune from madtuner.com. I am pretty sure Ion said it would be fine without a change, but I am following up with him to confirm again.

I live in Clinton Twp, but drive to Milford pretty much every day for work. I can swing by Waterford on my way too or from if that works for you. I can't tell you how much this will help - just to eliminate part of the potential problem.

Sounds like you talked to Dave Ianitelli (Black 97 SLP SS). I was the Vice President with Street Lethal working closely with him for several years.

I used to do more shows, but prefer to mod and race now. My car is clean, but not perfect.

Chris-

May need to take you up on this after all. I replaced the opti and things are actually worse. The car starts and then is a mess when I step on the gas.

Chris-

Given that Christmas is upon us, Santa and his helpers are gonna be a little busy at my house. Prolly crack back into it after the first of the year.

I will be in touch.
