Help! Internship!

Let's try this on more time. Im looking for a speedshop in MI that I can do an internship for the summer. I talked to Livonia Speedshop and they said "they don't do that". It's too bad, they do everything I wanted to learn and I would take pressure off the people to do the things I haven't learn to do yet. People that have connections, pull some strings. I refuse to work at a supermarket when I can learn to do what I love . Thanks!

The best thing to do is poke around a few of the shops and start getting to know people. When you're there just pick up a broom and start sweeping. That'll make the best impression... Then tell them theres plenty more where that came from

MBonZ28, I am a freshmen going on softmore at Southwestern Highschool, I learn fast, I don't fool around and take everything seriously. I am trying to gain experience, I am familiar with the LS1 and the 5.0L mustang engine. I have read many books on building engies, porting and flowing heads etc. I'm just trying to put this into practice. Next year I'm going to take a vocational program for automotive and I want to go into it with some experience, and I don't want to work at a nothing job.
