Guaging interest - R6 for sale

ok, all you ruff riders out there.

I am guaging interest in selling my 2002 R6. 100% stock, 2500 miles. Blue in color, never beat on (stenod chickened out), basically never wheelied and never stoppied (I dont care to do them), and never spun the rear tire. Has had the oil changed 3 times since new, and had all maintenance done.

This would have to be a quick sale, as it may go to the dealer on wednesday. If you want one that hasn't been ridden hard this is it.

looking for 6200. But will consider offers. Suggested retail is 6600.

look up any blue 2002 R6 that is bone stock and has no scratches and you'll see my bike. hehe

if I get up the gumption to take some pics in the morning, I will send them your way.

I go talk to the dealer tomorrow, and if he has reasonable things to say, I may be bringing it back wed and leaving it . So time has to be quick.

Dealer gave me a reason to say no.

yamaha doesn't want me to sign on for a 4% loan when they are making 12% off of me now. and I am not gonna find another way to finance the rest.

Makes it easy not to sign my life away for 5K more .

Arrow What by chance...

... Rod were you thinking of trading/selling for?

If I could afford it, I'd get me a new GSXR1000, sell the T/A and start scooter racin' again! GSXR + Slick + Wheeliebar = 9.50's/143+ pretty easy, even for 210 pound me. Heck... with a little work, you could probably get a GSXR750 running 9.90's!
Next choice would be the big 1200 Kawasaki, just to give the 'Zuks a little sumpin' to fear!!

OH... By the way... I bet you even let your granny ride on the back to church on Sundays, right??

Arrow Another....

of the Big Fours Bullits, huh???
I admit Yamaha falls abot 4 th in my Japanese bike preference.
NO particular reason, though. All the Japsaaknees make GREAT scooters!

1) Suzuki
2) Kawasaki
3) Honda
4) Yamaha

Good Luck buddy and don't forget to buy the sticker to put on the back:

My other car is a Twin Turbo F-Body!!

cant get the r1 yet. its new next year anyhow.
Just the slow r6 for me as of right now.

However, I did get some new dyno numbers tonight. and the tuning fixed. how's 503 hp / 520 tq at the tires on a mustang dyno sound?

wonder which one has the better hp/ weight ratio?

Bird = 3780 raceweight and 503 rwhp
7.51 lbs / rwhp

R6 = 630 raceweight and 98 rwhp
6.4 lbs / rwhp

guess which one is faster?

Lightbulb GOOD GRAVY!! WOW!!!

The bird is a 'freakin monster'! Corngrats on some HUGE numbers!

Numbers don't lie and if they are correct, assuming good traction,
I would put my money on the scooter by a nose. Probably somewhere in the 10.75 area.

Golly... 600's putting out the HP of 900 and 1000 machines twenty years ago. SIMPLY amazing!
