Talking Got some new pictures you might like

Been working on my engine nonstop since I got it back yesterday morning. It is slow going, but things are picking up now. Snapped a few shots of some of the things I have going on. I will post more as the project progresses. But I thought some of you might like to see ya I have planned.

Rack and Pinion

Motor Mount

Bolts

Engine Crank

Engine Painted and taped off

Engine painted and untaped off

For those of you interested that is a single stage enamel in body color red. We use a self etching primer called Veriprime, then lay down a few coats of the Enamel. Turns out very nice, and is strong as nails. Plus I can actually wax it if I wanted to For those of you who know how to index surf, feel free, there are more pictures on the server.

Tomorrow comes the waterpump, 58mm TB, accesories, and I will actually set the engine onto the K-frame which is also painted bodycolor. Should have it all back in by the weekend sometime, as long as no real problems pop up.

Looks very nice! What are you going to use to install those nicely painted bolts? Plastic sockets? Nice picture of the crank and bottom end! Glad to see it's going together.

Naw....I used the impact and it didnt hurt them to bad. Its not going to stay perfect, but the red on the bolts definetly helps the underhood look. I will put masking tape in the socket of the ones the will show up alot...like the fuel rails. Other then that....just a little bling

Where at in PresKool do you work? I deal with you guys all the time at the bodyshop.

Q I know you are not going to scratch up that intake with that cheery picker chain are you? I want a nice pic when you have the other bling parts on. You should have brought those heads over and let me polished the ports and the front of the head that shows. You may want to take some mothers and go over the surfaced part of the front of the heads before installing the engine. It will keep it cleaner longer.
I picked up a supercharger yesterday to try and keep up with you. Talk at you later and don't forget the pic's.

I would have brought you the heads, but they were late to arrive, and my builder needed them as soon as they showed up. I will give the mothers a try on them to see if I can clean them up a bit. I seen on the MM board you found a supercharger. Great to hear that, I cant wait to see you run that car now. VERY COOL
