Got my Dyno numbers
Had a bit of a hard time yesterday. We were suspose to be at Speedworks at 1:30. DIDNT happen. On the way out of GR, my brother lost a bolt out of the caliper on the right rear. chewed up the wheel a bit, and ended his day. SO he is left sitting at a gas station. We decide that one of us needs to try and make it, so off I go. Not a bad ride over, the Rag cruised pretty nice at 3600 RPM. FINALLY get to Speedworks, and after the normal amount of ribbing me for being late, and a West Sider
, Greg loads her onto the Dyno. Those guys were so busy, espically with me being late, but they still took real good care of me.
We cracked jokes, and bench raced a bit, then Greg got in and did a pull. He was real gentle at first, but by the 4th pull he decided he was gonna try and break it.
I told him to do his worst, and off he went. HERE is a video of that pull, all 6800 RPM of it
She pulled strong, and put down 392.9HP @6500RPM and 356.9 TQ @4750
Not too shabby for a NA motor. All in all a good day. A bit long, and there are things to fix, but a good day. The guys at Speedworks are TOP NOTCH. Made me feel very welcome, and took great care of me. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a good tune. Plus you get to see some SUHWEET rides when you are there. After seeing the cars in there, it makes me glad I am on this side of the state. I would constantly be getting into trouble on that side
Anyway, thanks to ALL of you for your help this winter...espically my brother, Rediroc-z28 and Sinistersyclone. You guys were a big help. Now I just need to get it to the track. Better get your bottle Chad

Kool numbers... now times are in order!!!
I bet she'll spit out some pretty nice ET & MPH numbers
for ya!!
Greg is very personable and a real nice guy to work with! I gotta take the Redbird back next week to see if Greg can work some 'puter magic on it to get her to shift into second.
I really hate having her sitting at home on the trailer when I invested money this winter and need to be at a track every weekend PRACTICING/IMPROVING me and the car. MY goal is to once again become a serious and competitive bracket racer at
the age of 51, not 26 like my younger days.

Holy Crap!!!
Good job Q, I am glad that all your hard work over the winter has paid off. If you can get that car to hook, there is no doubt that it is an 11 second car. Last year at M7 when I ran the 12.48 I only had ~320rwhp according to Greg's dyno and that was without getting into 4th gear. So you are 70hp better awesome man. I guess I need to start getting some more side jobs so I can get these crappy Modern Musclecar heads off of my car and get some real ones on there.
On a side note do you have any Datamaster logs of WOT runs, I am looking to compare my airflow readings to other peoples to see what is going on with mine.
Enough chatting, gotta get out to the garage and finish installing the bottle.

Chad, what were you guys talking about with the Dyno numbers and corrections? My engine builder is trying to find out flywheel horse guesstimates. I thought there was something to do with a Mustang Dyno??
Q
The only correction I remember talking about was how to get from Mustang Dyno numbers to Dynojet numbers.
Here is my results:
349.3hp @ 6000RPM
323.8tq @ 5250RPM
Hey Greg, is there any way that you could email me the log of my final run in a text file or a .csv file or something that I could open in Excel to analyze the curve closer. It just looks kind of weird that my power is pretty level from 5800 to 6600 instead of climbing to the end.

turbo is right. Automatic transmissions usually figure out to be 18-20% drivetrain loss. Manuals are usually 13-15% in ideal conditions.
I'm prolly only gonna put down about 250 to the wheels IF that
