good engine shop
good engine shop
I was wondering if you guys could reccommend a good engine shop? I have a 95 safari that need the 4.3 rebuilt. I like to do most of my work on cars myself but this one is a little over my head. I've been screwed by almost every shop I've been to. I figured if anybody is gonna know of somebody I can trust, it's you guys.
Thanks

Re: good engine shop
Call the NAPA store in Union Lake and ask for Victor. He has a awsum machine shop in house there and dose great work, fair prices, good turn around. I've been using him for all of my work over the last year and it's as good if not better than well known speed shops that build in the area.
Re: good engine shop
if your just lookin for a stock rebuild, the heavy guys at my dealership are great. I work at bob sellers pont/gmc in farmington hills . I can save you like 10% I think so let me know if your interested in haveing a dealership do the work. are you lookin to have the whole job done, or are you gonna pull and reinstall the eng.? if your doin that, I might be able to get a better deal cause he can do it on the side.

Yeah, I'm lookin to get the whole thing done. I'll be getting it done within the next month or so. If you can get me a price quote that would be sweet. I'm in warren so towing it that far would kinda suck but if the price is right that would be cool.
Re: good engine shop
Hey.there is a place in waterford called A-C tire.....they do very good work...from bumper to bumper.top to bottom........I also work for a towing company.....we charge $45.00 hook up.....$3.50 pre loaded mile...( or you could use road service that would be better )....PM me for more info man...
