Going to another state to get insurance..anyone try??

Well i have 2 points on my liscense VIA Secretary of the state...AND 19 INSURANCE POINTS!!

So i was thinking about going to like winsconsin/ohio/illinois/tennessee to get insurance on my Z28 this summer...

I know i need a residance to do this, but i got it covered!! I will just rent a flat for a month and get the liscense!!

Has anyone done this..?? I WILL NOT PAY $500 a month for insurance!! I WILL NOT SELL THE Z28...!!

I think this will work, any ideas my friends?

Has anyone tried this..??

Just an FYI, Ohio isn't a "no fault" insurance state like Michigan, so the insurance is cheaper.

I gotta **** in yer wheaties here and tell you that you need to change your driving habits

Time to grow up and take responsibility for your actions. You did what you did, and the consequenses are higher insurance rates. Only you can change it in the future. Trying to beat the system will only work in your favor until you get in an accident. Try getting your insurance to pay a loss when you have a million points on your license that they didn't know about...

Sorry....

Let us know if it works. I heard the insurance companies now use companies like Experian to track insurance claims and driving records. It sounded like what you do in one state will follow you to another state.
