Wow! Thats a sweet ride. Too bad you didn't decide to sell earlier in the summer, you could have gotten 2000 more for it easily.

C'mon guys, this is the ultimate third gen at an awesome price.

TTT for ya.

Thanx Mike. It's tough to let it go after 9 years.

Eric, It's never been down the 1/4 mile (at least officially ) It dynoed at 272/302 at Detroit Speedworks with the TPI on it. I had a bad oil leak when I ran the LT1 so I'm not sure where it's at now.

Well Robert,
It looks like a very nice car.
I'm gonna check on a couple of things and see if I can get the cash.
Is it still running the LT1 intake? Did you fix the oil leak?
Would I be able to look at the car this weekend?

Intake is still on, car runs great. I fixed the oil leak, but never made it back to DSW. I'm throwing in the laptop, too.

Wow, selling the thirdgen, eh? Man, I remember when you used to post on thirdgen.org, before it turned all-tech.

I sold my thirdgen this June, in favor of my current car. Good Luck selling yours, although you kinda picked a bad time to sell. Usually spring/ early summmer is the best time to sell f-bodies.

To anyone looking for a very very nice car that will out run a stock LT1 and keep up with some stock LS1 this is it. I would think it would run mid 13.5 And on top of that you can't bet the price. If I had the extra cash I would buy it for that price and sell it in the spring..
RCR sorry to see you let it go. Very sweet ride.

No Porsches, and definitely not go-karts. I'm looking at building a Fiero, then either putting a Ferrari 355 body on it, or possibly designing and building my own, molds and all.

Denny, car's still around, maybe your friend will hit the lottery

later...

Thumbs up

RCR I knew a guy back in the 70's that made a mold and did his own body for his car. That would be cool. It was alot of work but it was one of a kind. I can't remember what kind of frame he put it on. I think a Mustang. I think he told me it took about two years of working on it part time. His was ok but I know you could do alot better.

Making the mold is the easy part , the hard part is designing it to fit. Actually, I don't think there is an easy part, but I'm in no hurry.
