Getting my car back tomorrow.

Well they have had my car since last Wed.They said it would be a three day turnaround.Yeah right. Now I am suppose to get it back tomrrow (Tues).I am ready to finally give up the cargo van (rapist van) that I have had to drive. They added a 2200 stall and put in some kind of a home brew shift kit.Kinda nervous about that, but the home brew kit in my Camaro turned out real good so hopefully this one will too. They told me today that for having such a hi gear in it, it comes out of the hole pretty strong.I wonder what it would do with some 3.55's, 3.73's, or what the hell even 4.10's.???? I think it will be a totally different car or at least I hope so cuz it was a total slug before. I'll let you all know.

Thumbs up

Glad to hear you got it back James!
Hopefully it will be all ok. Also want to let you know that riding lawnmowers can throw rocks really far! I was mowing the front yard and the Blazer was parked across the drive and the mower picked up a rock about the size of a baseball and sent it through the rear glass into the front glass!!!! OUCH!!!! The best part is that the Camaro was right next to it 5 feet away and didn't get touched. Thank God!
See Ya!

Where was my Camaro when all of this was going down?? Hopefully inside covered up by her baby blanket.. HEHE!! I got my Rustang back a couple days ago. I tell ya what a stall makes a hell of alot of difference. It is supposed to be a 2200 stall but she don't make enough power to stall it that high.It flashes around 2 grand. It is a hell of alot more fun to drive than before.I know what my first purchase is going to be when I get home now.I am getting a 2800-3000 vigilante for the Camaro . My next move on the Stang is going to be a set of 3.55's or 3.73's so if anyone has a spare set or knows of some one who does, send them my way. I smoked about half of the tread off my rental van. They hav'nt said anything yet,I am still waiting though. That thing was brand new. We have the UTI drags/Homecoming in November so I will run it again and see what she'll do now with the new trans and stall.Hopefully I'll have gears by then.It is starting to get cool out here.Finally.We are down in the 80's.High today is suppose to be 84*,When it is 80 out here it feels like 60 to 65 back in Michigan. Winter will be nice but I am going to definetly miss my snow and snowmobile. Oh well. Hope all is well at home with everyone.Good luck at M7 wish I could be there.
