With starting on a restoration project on another car, the SS is sitting more and more, and is getting neglected. It does however have a list of needs. The top is tore down on the side, doesn't affect it when it's being driven, but nonetheless it needs to be replaced. Also the bumper covers could use a fresh coat of paint, along with the hood. The car was in a small accident and the hood was cracked. It was repaired but didn't hold out to well. I have only 1 payment left on it and then it has a clean title. Now the car needs tires, there may be a warranty, there only 2 years old and dry rotted bad, on don't hold air anymore. I'm taking the price to $8,000. I could really use the cash.

The engine is stock with the exception of the 160 thermostat, SLP shorty headers, gutted single cat Y-pipe and 2OTL exhaust. It sounds tough I think. It has tubular LCA's and panhard bar. Polyurethane motor mounts, trans mount, and torque arm mount. LS1 brakes at all 4 wheels, ceramic pads on the front, stock on the back. The car has just over 90,000 miles on it now. As far as the production numbers, it is 1 of 42 white convertible SS's made in 97. It has dark grey leather interior, cd changer, power drivers seat. K&N filter 16" SS wheels. The fluids have always been changed on schedule with Mobil 1 synthetic fluids. The car still has all the emissions equip. on it, that was the next to go.
