Thumbs up FS:NEW Agostino Racing Engines 396ci Nitrous Combo

Brand new and never fired! Agostino Racing Engines 396ci nitrous combination.

All parts are brand new. Block was reused but has been completely gone thru including aline hone, decked and ect. Motor is setup to run very large amounts of nitrous.

396ci 4 bolt main conversion.
Custome nitrous pistons.
O-ringed block for nitrous use.
Custome direct port nitrous kit plumbed from Jeff Prock at Applied Nitrous.
LT4 intake that has been ported from ARE and additional nitrous bungs welded into runner for direct port.
ASM Mono Blade throttlebody
Solid Roller Cam and lifters
Cloyes Double Roller timming chain conversion
Internally Balanced
Eagle nitrous rods
Cola Crank
Hellfire Piston Rings
Canton Oil pan and modified pump
ATI Balancer
Custom fuel rails
CNC'ed AFR heads reworked by ARE with addit porting, lrg valves, ect.
Jessel Valve train
ARP studs throught out the whole motor inside and out.
Sheet metal valve covers
Mezere Electric water pump

The nitrous kit was custom plumbed, flowed and setup by Jeff Prock whom is the top nitrous tuner in the country. The inatke required additional welding from him to install his nitrous kit which uses individual NOS stainless annular nitrous nozzle per runner, this nitrous kit is adjustable from 50 to 600hp. The motor will also come with three nitrous tuneups from Jeff Prock using his own flowed nitrous jets. Also included will be the required tuning info to run the three nitrous tuneups;300,350,400 shots.

Motor will also include new K&N FIPK system,Granitelli MAF,MSD 6T Box and coil,OBD1 ECU with OEM factory harness for automatic.

This motor will make enought power to put a F-body into the 9's on the spray. Perfect setup for killer street strip sleeper EITHER IN F-BODY OR STREET ROD.

As stated I never installed the engine in car nor has it been fired. Reason for selling engine is because I have already purchased another new combination to run. Motor was just finished less than a week ago by Agostino Racing Engines in Canada. If the engine would have been completed thsi past summer I would have used it but things just didn't happen that way.

If intersted please feel free to contact me at 616-813-9296 or jim.winn@irwinmortgage.com I also have pictures of engine. I'm also located in Grand Rapids, Mi if wanting to come in person.

Will sell for: $10,000.00

Have over $15,000.00+ in reciepts.

Take Care,
Jim Winn

Sounds like a nice motor, too steep for my blood though. I have to wonder what makes one spend 15000 for a motor and then switch directions? Also (not trying to be a wise guy but) what kind of employment allows one to drop that kind of money on a motor only to sell it at a 5000 loss and buy something else?
Wish I could help you out. good luck selling it though

glad to hear you picked it up, damn shame it took so long!

my motor should be done by the end of next week or so. it is so nice to have good communication with your builder, and to have him advise you of what options you have when putting it together! i am still learning a ton about what keeps them together and last longer, one reason why i invested in a titan oil pump!

g'luck on sale, if i win the lottery i'll buy it just to have a spare motor

Come on Taner, buy the motor for the wife's car or are you skerd she'll row the gears better. This could explain why the seat is conveniently set back too far for her to reach the pedals.

Good luck in selling that beast, I know someone will get one strong running engine if they buy it.

What's happenin Steve,

Did you finely decide to get some real traction devices? 86 all those bolt ons and go with a GLP chromoly Fab 9 Ford nine inch with a ProMod 4-link,antirole, and so on. Just go ahead and do a SFI 25.1E chassis. It's only money.

Can't wait till I get out again with all that new power and new car!

Nothing going on here. Just changing parts out on it and giving the car a once over. I'm not going to cut this one up anyway. I'll do something else to a different car later on.

On a side note, I just picked up Dean Skuza's Firebird chassis. I think I can just put my motor in that and run you down with it!

LOL!! You wish!

Considering how bad Skuza did in racing I think you would have better luck with putting your motor in a little red wagon we all used to have when we where kids.

Steve,

When or if you get some free time give me a call I wanted to talk to you some more about that shop you mentioned to me about doing some work to my Tahoe. When you get a chance 616-813-9296 or my office 616-451-2233.

Thanks,
Jim

Notice Jim puts some interesting ficticous stuff in his sig. Who's ever seen his mythical 396? I haven't, and it ran 8's according to his sig.
