FS: Hooker ORY & Cat-Back (DUAL CUTOUTS!!!!)
FS: Hooker ORY & Cat-Back (DUAL CUTOUTS!!!!)
General Info:
What I am selling is the exhaust system that is currently on my 94' Z-28. This will consist of a Hooker ORY pipe with dual cutouts and a Flowmaster SOR cat-back. The cat-back has been on there since the spring of 2005 and the ORY has been on the car since last spring. Both pieces are in excellent condition because my car sees few miles and never sees snow. The reason I am selling these parts is because I am converting to true duals.
The Good Stuff
:
On the ORY pipe, there is a cutout behind each header collector. This is great because you can cruise with a fairly quiet exhaust (which is quite a sleeper with its single tip) and uncap the car when you feel like making some noise. Although some may complain that Flowmaster is too restrictive, you can uncork the car at the track (or for a short race
)too get all of the exhaust flow you will ever need.
Price:
Were you to try and duplicate this system, it would cost roughly $500 new assuming you have the ability to weld. The exhaust is completety welded, except for where the ORY meets the cat-back. At this point in the exhaust I have a Stainless Steel clamp which will be included. I would like to get $300 plus shipping (local pick-up is accepted). Please note however that the ORY and cat-back must be sold together. The price listed is for both.
Thank You for your interest,
Matt

I forgot to mention that the exhaust is still on my Z28, so if you are seriously interested I can work something out for you to swing by and hear it on the car before purchase. Hopefully I will be able to post pics this weekend.
