FS: 1988 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z turbo
FS: 1988 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z turbo
T-top car, brand new tires, new paint, no rust. It's black with twin hugger orange SS type stripes. Looks great.
5 speed trans.
Runs good, could use a little tinkering. hasn't been driven much in two years, so the gas will need to be drained, and probably a new fuel filter put in. maybe some injector cleaner run through it. Needs brakes.
It's my dad's car. so you know it wasn't abused. He's 53 and would rather play on his Harleys or his other cars, so this one never saw much use. I think it has 110k miles.
Looking for $1200 or best offer. I'll try to swing by there tomorrow for pictures.
Tempted to buy it myself and throw a bigger turbo on it. You don't see too many of the Shelby Z daytonas anymore. But I'm trying to stay focused on other projects for now

I had a '86 Dodge GLH Turbo for about 14 years so seeing this car brings back some memories. I had an absolute blast in that thing.
BTW, it doesn't take much at all to pump up these little 2.2s to the mid 200 HP range, but I don't know if I'd try that on an engine with 136,000 miles on it.
