FS: 1965 Oldsmobile F85 V8 club coupe

Runs, drives, turns, and stops. Not much rust for a 40 year old car. Needs paint, engine accessory bracketry realignment, and interior. It'd take about $1500 to make it into a summer driver.

Very cool car, lightest of the A-bodies at 3200 pounds. It has a very good running original 2bbl 330 V8 Jetfire engine and a non-original turbo 350 transmission. This would make an excellent drag car or street machine. Most of the chrome trim is inside the car waiting for re-installation.

Emissions Exempt. Clear title. Good tires. It was brought up from southern Ohio.

$1100. Located in Haslett, near East Lansing.

Yeah it was. However, I've found it difficult to find time to even yank the fenders in order to paint them, much less stitch together an interior for the car. I can't afford to have someone else do the work, so I either present her the car as-is (which would NOT impress her) or else I try again with a different car some other time.

Yeah, it'd be sweet, but as a cruiser or light drag car (12.50 and slower) it'd probably be better to retain an Olds engine, I would think. Preferrably a 425 CID with steel crank, ported heads, and a hydraulic roller retrofit cam.
