I will have mine there if you still want to go Mike.

What about Novaman, and the Becca's? They were jumping all over everybody on the first post about going and now they are no where to be found.

I just don't want to get my hopes up! I was so excited to go last time and they cancelled. I don't know what this weekends plans are, but it shouldn't be too hard to try and make a run up to Martin. I'm not sure what the guys that were going to come with me last time are up to either. One of the biog problems for us will be helmets. I have one, but no one else does. Anyone know how the techs are down there? Stock, our cars are supposed to be 13.45. I'm still stock, but the other two have done some minor things.

I am hesitant about going on Friday because I am not looking forward to spending the money to get in and only be able to get 3 or 4 runs in. According to their website TNT starts at 6:30 or 7 and ends at 10, so if the place is full you won't get a lot of runs in. But on June 4th, they are starting the Wednesday TNT that should be a lot better.

As far as helmets go, you could try and risk not using one but if you are going to do a lot of racing you might as well cough up the ~$100 for a helmet that has either a SNELL95 or SNELL00 rating.

I don't like the forecast for this weekend.

Car runs a lot better now at cruise and part throttle. I'm happy about that. Still lots of bugs to work out before the weekend.

I kart race so I have a snell95 and dot approved helmet. It's the two other guys with 2001 WS6's that I'm concerned about. I know that safety is a n issue, but they don't have helmets and their cars are rated for below the helmet time (13.49 I think). What happens if they go out there, and break under the helmet time. Does that mean they don't get any more runs in? Or will they not let them run at all?

I didn't hear about Wednesdays... that might be a nice weekday activity.

I don't know how strict the track is, but worst case they will tell them to get a helmet to run again. Then they can either borrow one or buy one for the next time. But if the guys are getting close to the 12's then I think they will want a helmet.

Hey Chad why not try Midnight madness at Stanton Friday night?
Gates open at 7pm and they run 'till midnight.
And as a bonus I'll be there this Friday
Food for thought anyway.

Looks like I have to work until 8 on Friday This is no good for racing... Stanton is an hour and a half away which would mean that I would get there at 9:30 or later.... And US 131 closes at 10 but its a half hour away. I don't feel like getting 1 pass in. Looks like I will have to wait to go to the track for maybe next wednesday.

I'll be there with the video camera. You guys gotta let me know if you want to be taped cuz otherwise I mostly focus on the vintage iron.
Grover, do you need a hand? I'm usually available in the evenings.

Thanks for the offer Pete, I'll keep that in mind. And if you can tape me going down the track that would be sweet.

Hey Becca, is that your red 35th SS that I've been seeing in the parking lot on the corner of Westnedge and Crosstown? I drive past there every day on my way home from work and when I see it I wonder if it's yours...

wow, this might suck tomorrow night. I am getting NO traction from launch, at least on the street. spind all the way through 1st and second and half way into third. I'll have to pull the sway bar to try and transfer some weight. Hope it sticks a little better at the track or I'll be in the 2.00+ 60' range

Anyone wanna loan me a set of drag radials to make 3-4 passes tomorrow night? I have an email out to see about buying osme, just not sure if I can get them in time...
