So I hear if you are faster than 13.99 or 14 seconds you need a helmet? I don't have a helmet and I think that may be the only equipment that I don't have that I may need. First does a motorcycle helmet work, pretty much most helmets for ATVs and any vehicle pretty much would work? Other than that is there other items I need, I figured I would find out sat and decide then if I would race or not. But if all I need is something small like a helmet. I could maybe find one to borrow and take with me or borrow one from some of you guys at the track? I know I could get a helmet used for riding a four wheeler, i don't know if it is sufficient. Please if you guys know anything else I should need. I expect to be running 14's, maybe high 13's if I'm lucky

 

A motorcycle/ATV/snomobile helmet is fine. They don't really get to be sticklers about helmets unless you're gonna be going really fast.

 

I called the track they she said Jeff would have to call me back later because he knew for sure. Aparently you need a helmet no matter what she said. I guess I will find out more and hopefully they'll let me race. Because I've gone faster than I will be on the track anyway on the road lol

 

I'll bring my helmet even though I won't be racing. Who knows, maybe I'll sell it. Only used it once since I've bought it. Might consider a trade too....for some 02 sims. Still debating though...
