engine building shops
What are some good engine shops in our area? I am looking for one to check over a carbed 406 engine that I just bought. Can they tune or dyno at their shop? How are their prices? Any info appreciated.

Ive heard HORRIBLE things about livernois. I met a guy who spent a TON of cash in there and just had some terrible things to say about it.
Best place Around would be either Wheel to Wheel if you got big bucks or Thompsons in Redford. Brian Thompson is awesome, hes reasonably priced, and his work is top notch. Hes on telegraph just north of Plymouth road. Several of his cars have been in super chevy magazine.
