What was going on with the car? Was the tranny causing problems before it blew? That car seemed awfully loud and obnoxious to only ran what it ran?

they just bought the car a couple of mounths ago, and that was only like the 10th run with it, and the trans brake has been acting up
we've had trouble with the trans overheating too
so yea, major trans problems seem to have been slowly coming, it should run low 10's/high 9's

Yeah I figured it had something going on... I was not trying to dog the car at all it looks and sounds awesome! Just thought it was kinda funny to hear it screaming down the track but only running mid 12's

actually, that run was the bad one, two of the runs were 11.04 @122 mph and 11.10 @121 mph
