people try to tell you that a Trans Am is faster than a Camaro?
Than when you explain that they are the same damn car to everything but the body and interior they still disagree.

Next time, tell them that the only reason their Trans Am is faster is because it's still carburated, has no catylitic converter, and sports a 6.6 litre engine, 4-speed Muncie transmission, shaker scoop, and CB radio.

 

Yeah, I hate when people say stupid stuff like that, those same idiots will see a car with a huge wing, ground effects and neon lights and say "Wow! that must be a fast car!" my corvette looks stock and everybody downplays it and every mustang thinks they are faster but they don't even know how much I have done to the car, even a stock C4 vette would outhandle a mustang, just like even a 10 year old LT1 camaro could take/hold its own with a brand new mustang GT in a drag race. I had to vent on this subject.

 

i love that one too. people tell me my car will smoak a z28 when i only have 15 more hp if that...

I like the one about the convertable mustang gts too. my buddy raced a 2003 convert GT auto in his F-body.
he lost by 2 cars or so but the funny thing is that his f body is a 6 cyl

 

A Trans Am is slower than a Z/28 because of all that extra weight.

 

Trans Ams cost more, so they must be faster.

Unless it has flames, cause flames make it fast. Hell flames make a TA so fast that they are faster than 383 Camaro SS's

 

i just tell them well yeah there faster, mines just a V6 w/ a hood and spoiler! LOL

Each sticker you have adds power, I don't have any stickers on my car which explains why it is so slow.

 

its the bigger rear spoiler that makes it faster!!!lol
