My 6aln works just fine its just i dont get a tach output. cuz that parts fried. so if anyone has a 6AL sitting around that works and not only works gives off a tach output. and would like to get it off their hands im looking.
Or if any one has one i can borrow. im going to need it either some time during the week or this weekend.
I wanna get the car out and tune it and maybe get it to the track if i get it totally finally broken in by then

You can get a tach signal off the white input wire.

 

so ur saying if i hook it up to the white input wire for the points style distributor then i can get a tach signaL?

 

No, the white wire is only for points style ignition, it won't give you any signal with your ignition.

 

well with my spedo not working. i think the cable snapped. and the fact it didnt give the right damn speed to begin with im doing 35-40 and it says im doing 70. it was way off. i gotta get dif spedo gears for hte trans.
i kinda need teh tach like asap to be able to get some judgemnt of how fast im going.

and they charge your more and more every year.
so looks like im SOL for now.
i wouldnt ind that tom. but the problem is as u might have been able to tell it took like 2 weeks for me to get ur check. lol so i could only imagine how long its goign to take for u to get mine and me to get the ignition.(that is if its still in one peice when it crosses the border).

I had put this stuff in the FS section on Friday and have it all packed up and ready to go to whoever gets back to me first.
