I know Paul's high performance in Jackson does. I think his website is www.paulshp.com

He holds dyno days there now and then too. Seems to be pretty good at what he does based on some of the results coming out of there.

Brad I think theres quite a few of us that need PROM burning. I know Jim (TTA) and Eric, along with myself and I'm sure I could name a few more. Can you give us leads on where to get everything from?

What I meant was that I do my own custom tuning. Tonight I was gonna do a real modified chip and run it hard to see where I am at.

As for who does custom chips in Michigan, I assume that you guys mean dyno tuning... I wouldn't waste my money on a dyno tune before I had all my part throttle tuning down... because as soon as you tune the WOT stuff, the part throttle stuff reverts back to crap and the car is again not in good tune. So, you have a fast as hell car up top that may stall or burn insane amounts of gas at part throttle. However, if you do tune the part throttle stuff first then do the WOT stuff, you're ok.

What do you guys want? tuning equipment? or custom chips? and remember, heed that warning about getting a dyno tune before a part throttle tune. you'll thank me by going through less gas.

How about u bring your bag of tricks to the next 3rd gen meeting and give us a sample of your magic? I have an extra PROM or 2 that you could re-flash. Then maybe we can get some ideas on how to do it on our own. You know us broke *** 3rd gen guys

Mike, as far as I have been told so far, PROM tuning is not an exact science until you have a method down. I don't have a method yet. You also need to get a scanner so that you can see whats going on inside the motor. A laptop and a datacable are good enough as a scanner. The software is all free!

So far I have made little changes. I'm ready to start making bigger ones. I have to.

Well, I have a Snap-On scanner. You can pretty much see everything that the computer sees. I'd be willing to rent time on it in trade for help on my car, or some $$ .
