custom alignment?
custom alignment?
anyone know where i can go to get a good alignment with my custom suspension?
most local places like belle tire and the like won't do it. someone told me there is a place in the area that deals with custom hot rod suspensions that could help but didn't know the name.

I dont know any custom places. but you know I could do it. I dont see whats so diff. about doin your align then stock. only thing is Id be worried about scratching your strut towers when moving the caster/camber plates.
at least I could make sure the specs came out perfect for you though jeff.

Jeff go to lakes automotive, yeh i know there moper guys but he did a hell of a job on my z, there located just north of utica rd. and old van dyke, the street is about .25 mile north of the intersection i think the street is industrial st. talk to gary and tell him i set you. later scott.
oops typo
Yeh thats jakes automotive sorry i need to speel check more often. hey jeff they set my bump steer and scaled all four corners so i have the weight on each wheel and he set my front coilovers for traction and ride height.
Well if you'd ask me I'd say that Chris (IROCSS85) does a really good alignment, he did my last camaro and although its a dealership (like $50 or so) he spent a lot of time and got mine perfect, I don't trust anyone else to get it that perfect except maybe my brother. In a week or so after I change out every suspension bushing to polyurethane on my vette and put new shocks and suspension I'm taking the vette over to Chris to do a four wheel alignment, I'm sure he'll get it perfect for me, I saw my camaro on the alignment rack myself last time and I had the printout to show the alignment. The only trade off is I guess I'll have to let Chris rag on the vette a little after all the suspension is done (hope you leave me some rubber left on the tires Chris!).
I think you are looking for Slim's Hot Rod Shop. I think it is at 10 1/2 and Gratiot. They align cars by hand on a giant concrete jig from the 50s.
I took my car there when I lowered it. They did a great job
