Corvette capable of 13,000 rpm!
Corvette capable of 13,000 rpm!
Wow, this mod for C4 corvettes is unbelieveable, check out the dyno chart, 80 ft/lbs and 141 hp on a vette and the engine revs to 13000 rpm. I didn't know that corvettes came with motorcycle engines?
This ebay guys are some of the greatest inventors, I wonder if they have patents on bullshiet.

Re: Corvette capable of 13,000 rpm!
Maybe I should take up a new line of work in the fraud business. Apparently it's legal on eBay. Heck, I can do a better job than that. I'll have dyno charts relevant to the vehicle model, and I'll even put more stuff in that box than a resistor.
Re: Corvette capable of 13,000 rpm!
You'd be rich.
They should make some of these crappy items in chrome so they could double their money. I think I might start selling a new ebay invention, its a new speedometer gear or sensor so that it will look like your going much faster than you are, easy 50-100 horsepower for only $200 of course the item will be called a ecm fluctuator and will be marketed toward the ricer market. Just think, your ordinary Honda Civic will be able to go 200 mph with only this device, and of course a 3 foot tall shiny wing will be required with this purchase so that you can outhandle a Ferrari Enzo at those speeds. No internal engine modifications necessary, easy installation!
If anyone is interested in my new product please let me know, I take certified checks or cash only.
*Disclaimer: This item is not guaranteed to work, any disputes arising out of the sale of item will be subject to the laws and jurisdiction of Cuba. This is not intended to promote speeding and on Honda Civics it will be necessary to get the proper speed rated tires on as large of rims that you can find.

Re: Corvette capable of 13,000 rpm!
The guy has placed a resistor into a box so that it modifies the signal from the vehicle's sensors, "fooling" the ECM to run rich. What he's saying is that the automotive engineers are all bozos and dont know how to tune their products, and that the sensor manufacturers are all bozos who dont know how to temperature compensate their sensors. He ought to go work for the folks who build "the tornado", which my local auto parts store sells. The guys at NAPA are serious when they think their 'tornado' air redirectors make a performance difference. I guess this shows that with enough audacity, you can sell anything to the sheep. You just need to give up your scruples first.
