My friend is going to be installing his 383 LT1 in his 94Z, he just put a big cam and all the goodies into it. Where would be a good place to get his computer tuned at? I was thinking something like Detroit Speedworks but I think they might be a little pricey. Anyone have any good suggestions?

don't know how much, but they do good work, I won't go anywhere else(helps that they are 15 minutes/9 miles from my house)

 

I think the typical charge is $525-550 everywhere. livernois will do a good tune. greg banish now works for livernois (detroit speedworks no longer exists because livernois wanted greg to tune for them). if I can afford it, thats where I'll get my dyno tune from also. the other option is a mailorder tune from madz28. very cheap, and Ion will get it very close to optimum. but there is no replacement for real time wideband tuning on a dyno.
