Question Clear RamAir Lid @ Milan

When I was at Milan at the "SS" Fest I saw an SS with a clear ram Air lid, I was wondering where did they get it? Also saw some pieces of rubber on top of it to stop the lid from hitting it, is this a issue for WS6's also? If anyone knows a site that sells these clear lids let me know thanks.

MTI Makes the clear lid. And yes the WS6 hoods do hit the lids. They hit dead center on a SLP lid and on the Whisper lid they hit in two places about 1/3 of the way in from each side.

is there anything that can be done to fix this? or will i also have to put rubber on top of the lid? Or is there another lid that will fit?

I've tried both lids and they rub. I'd recommend putting a piece of rubber or something slippery that has some give. Not sure what others have done. Mine rubs so damn bad because the engine is possesed with the cam so it just vibrates like crazy under the hood.

You have to move the whole airbox back about1/4 inch. You have to redrill holes so that you can move it back. IT wont really hurt anything.
