cleaning undercarraige

how do you guys cleanup underneath the car when you building it?
should i just powerwash it or take to in to have it sandblasted and painted?

right now the rear is out, tank is out, pulled all the gas and brake lines, engine and trans is out so it seems like the best time to do it.

thanks,
mike

If it doesn't need to be painted, just cleaned I use wheel cleaner. Its strong enough to remove just about anything under there. If you can, spray it on and let it soak for a few minutes then get a scrub brush and scrub the thing down. Hose it off and it should be good as new.

Simple green is the best for mild stains, buit wheel cleaner is cheap and takes off everything
