Cleaning HD screens
Yes, do not use anything with ammonia in it, like it does with car window tint it will haze the screen. Rubbing alcohol diluted with a little water works well, AMMONIA FREE windex works, vinegar and water works good, and so does alot of eyeglass cleaners. If you want to use something specific Monster makes a special screen cleaner, it comes with a microfiber towel and its like $20, it will last you about 2 years.
I've never tried it on a TV, but as long as there aren't any harsh chemicals in it I don't see why it wouldn't work. Maybe dab a little on a tiny corner to test it? You gotta be careful though, because generally if you use windex once, it won't do anything. Use it 3 or 4 times, and you will start to see the damage. So it's hard to say. Personally if I spent $1000+ on a TV I wouldn't be experimenting with cleaners
