I'd go, but I will likely wait until Halloweekend. Last time it was a blast and it wasn't too hot or crowded.

Note to self: Never go to Cedar Point with people who don't ride the rides!
Aint that the god damn truth. I went about 3 years ago with a friend of mine, his girlfriend, and one of her friends. As we got into the park, my friends GF speaks up and says she has a heart condition and cant ride big rollercoasters, and her friend says she doesnt like them. Then why the hell did we drive 5 hours to get here? The only rides they went on were the Mine Ride, and the Corkscrew. My friend and I ditched them for an hour so we could ride Millenium Force, but thats was it. No Magnum, no raptor, no Mantis.

Yea I remember that.
My wife just volunteered to handle reservations and payments if we want to do again.
If people don't pay in advance by paypal/credit card or check they have to buy their own full price admission at the gate. That way we know exactly how many people are showing up and no one gets screwed.

That's a good idea. Dave and I already have been talking about an exceptionally simple way to do it without him getting screwed again.

How (and IF) he does it is up to him.

I have a credit card machine, a paypal account and I could set up a secure website to take payments in a few minutes.
My wife could take payments over the phone and keep track of who's coming.
The day of the event who ever paid could present us with their receipt and get a ticket.
Nobody gets screwed and everyone who pays gets a ticket.

We have Norwalk rented out on July 30 (a Friday). Camping there is allowed, and Cedar Point is only one exit up the turnpike.

Hmm... too bad my car's so slow, not really worth tunning, but CP is always fun.
